Bea McMahon

Bea McMahon was born in The Rotunda in 1972. Her brother Toby had gromits in his ears which couldn’t get wet so neither he nor McMahon learnt to swim until 1979. Their swimming teacher was called Nuala and she was pure glamour with red lipstick at the poolside. McMahon has had two dramatic swimming incidents, one with travellers who beat her up and took her clothes away and one with the Mediterranean which swept her away. She has swum in many international waters, both salted and fresh.

Drinks will be served (but personal flasks are always more than welcomed)
